Kids and Education
"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.”
Focusing on children and education using art’s compelling power is a high priority for Rome Area Council for the Arts. We recognize the importance of the arts in a child's curriculum of learning and growth. Because of this, RACA is increasingly dedicated to providing arts opportunities for young people in our community.
We offer a variety of programs and various camps during school breaks. We seek to give children in our community the chance to express their artistic abilities and enjoy other practicing artists who share their talents through drama, visual arts, or musical performance, etc.
In addition to providing these opportunities, RACA strives to partner with local arts and human service organizations to ensure the availability of these programs for children in our community. From art camps to family events, RACA hopes to help bring the arts to children through fun and exciting programs.
