What’s in it for me?
First, all members receive RACA’s bimonthly newsletter, which includes feature articles on upcoming events presented by RACA, notes on events produced by other arts organizations in the Rome area, and a comprehensive arts calendar for the Rome/Floyd County community.  All members also receive advance notification of RACA-sponsored events such as art camps, poetry nights, Performing Arts Series events, children’s programs, community outreach events, and workshops and classes, as well as personal invitations to opening receptions and art exhibitions.  In addition, all donations to Rome Area Council for the Arts are tax deductible. Most importantly, your support of Rome Area Council for the Arts signifies your vested interest in the arts in our community.

What’s in it for the Community?
Rome Area Council for the Arts was established in 1976.  For twenty-nine years we have provided valuable services to Rome and Floyd County in the form of visual, literary and performing arts. RACA provides events for children, adults and seniors, as well as outreach programs for individuals with special needs. RACA influences the economy and culture of the Rome area by enriching the quality of life in our community and by encouraging visitors and potential residents to tour and relocate to Floyd County.  Finally, RACA supports all art forms and arts organizations in our community by providing a variety of cultural events, free publicity in our newsletter, and resources to help those organizations flourish.
