Berry College Chapel; Performance by the Miracles, a traveling Christian choir of talented adults with developmental disabilities. This choir exemplifies the value of every person as worthy of pursuing individual talent and interests. The choir consists of 24 men and women living at The Baddour Center, a community for adults with intellectual disabilities, located in Senatobia, Mississippi. The Miracles travel 15, 000 miles and perform 40 concerts annually. Nov. 13/Sixth Annual Angel Express Dinner (Kosher Spaghetti!): The Sixth Annual Angel Express Dinner presented by the Outreach Committee of the Transfiguration Episcopal Church is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13, at The Forrest Hotel Ballroom. Gourmet Kosher Spaghetti by "Chef" Ira Levy will be the fare.  Janet Baltzer, the creator and organizer of Angel Express, will be on hand to give a short presentation of the history and future of this charitable organization which not only provides toys for needy children but helps and gives holiday spirit to underprivileged adults of Rome and Floyd County, Also featured: musical entertainment by Sam Baltzer and The Applescraps. A community collaboration between potters, restaurants, Garner and Glover Insurance Company, Chiaha Guild, and Rome Area Council for the Arts will sponsor the Empty Bowls Project to benefit the William S. Davies Homeless Shelter. The Empty Bowls Project dinner will be Tuesday, November 13, 2007, 5:30-7:30 p.m., at the Rome Civic Center on Jackson Hill. Tickets are $18.00. Ticket holders receive a meal and a handmade ceramic bowl. The program will also include a presentation of local musicians.
