The Three Rivers Singers perform Schubert's Mass in G Major

The Three Rivers Singers will present a free concert on Sunday, April 15th, 2018 at 4:00 PM in the sanctuary of Second Avenue Baptist Church, 801 East Second Avenue SE, Rome 30161. Franz Schubert’s Mass No. 2 in G Major will be the featured selection, with several short pieces by Dvorak, arranged for chorus by Three Rivers Singers music director, Len Willingham, as well as “Grant Us Thy Peace” by Mendelssohn. Soloists for the Mass will be one of Rome’s favorite sopranos, Ms. Indra Thomas, tenor, Dr. Paul Neal and bass, Dr. Steve Sheeley. The group will be directed by Len Willingham and accompanied by organist Joan Hill and a chamber orchestra assembled by violist Samantha Lester. (Bios for the soloists follow).
