Mission Statement Rome Area Council for the Arts (RACA) is a community organization that demonstrates the enriching value of all art forms in our lives. We encourage awareness of and participation in the visual, performing and literary arts through a network of patrons, students and artists. We accomplish this through coordination and promotion of events and programs, technical assistance, education and financial support.
About Us Founded in 1976, RACA is recognized for producing, promoting and supporting the arts in Rome and Floyd County, Georgia. RACA strives to increase arts awareness and education in the community by providing as much free programming as finances permit. RACA produces, promotes, and supports artists and arts organizations working in the visual arts, literary arts, and performing arts, including music, theater, and dance. Programs also include classes, workshops, summer art camps, school performances, after school programs, and outreach programs to senior centers and mental health facilities. For more information or to join as a member, call 706-295-ARTS.
